Greetings From Marie Leclerc

June 11, 2012

Hello there!

My name is Marie Leclerc, and I was recently hired as ByoLogyc’s new Public Relations Director. I know that this company has seen a lot of PR Directors in its time, but I plan on putting the ByoLogyc brand on the tips of everyone’s tongues!

As PR Director, I’ll be stepping in as one of the VIP coordinators, and I look forward to communicating with you. I have big plans for involving our VIP members in our promotion strategies. Heading into the future, I want to see all of us promoting ByoLogyc through social media, face-to-face interactions and any other avenues that you can think of. I think we’ll be SO much more successful if we show even more pride in our work, and showcase it for friends, family and the world to see.

As a first step towards working together, I thought it would be nice to put a real face to all the names you’ve been seeing. I’ve convinced all the VIP coordinators to record introduction videos, so you can get to know them better.

  • Olive Swift: Watch her video!
  • Dahlia Joss: Watch her video!
  • Marie Leclerc: That’s me!
  • Henry Chan: I’m told Henry will have his video up pretty soon, as he’s quite busy.
  • Tyler Wyatt: Watch his video! Like me, Tyler is a new face in the VIP Initiative. As ByoLogyc’s Creative Director, we’ll be working together to find new ways to involve you VIPs in our marketing strategies.

I’m excited to be a part of this team, though catching up on 20 years of excellence is a little scary. But everyone has been so helpful this far and I wanted to say thanks for welcoming me!

Please drop me a line, I want to hear all of your ideas!

P.S. I have one more bit of exciting news to announce! A comic artist out of Iceland has been working with ByoLogyc staff to document their stories as part of a research project. She interviewed me just the other week, and she was quite nice. Take a look at her work!

  1. Hey Marie,

I just wanted to remind you that it is not your place to set tasks for the interns, and or dictate policy for the rest of us. Henry is in charge of the VIP Initiative. If he thinks it’s a valuable exercise then he will set things up.

Also, I think we would all agree that it’s best to not distract the interns from their focus, and social media in particular is a drain on workplace productivity. In fact, I think that’s your job, isn’t it? But if you don’t think you can handle it, you can always take this up with Chet. If you really think it’s necessary. He has so much free time and all.

    See you!

  2. Hmmm… it appears the Byologyc staff has some communication and ego issues? How can you expect the interns to behave in a professional manner what with setting us such poor examples? I just signed on to this gig… but in the first few minutes already I’m frankly rather appalled at these instances of quibbling and childish competition. Come now! Let’s get it together, honchos… there is – and never has been – any ‘I’ in “team”.
